I don't want to start a racial discrimination debate here, but people do profile subconsciously so it can happen. I have had 100% success guesting friends/family into the F lounge

Of course you did, each Gold travelling in F can bring 1 guest.

Exactly the same situation has been denied in the past, most recently in October 2011.

The last time I was in the F lounge in January there was a sign at the entrance desk stating that Gold passengers traveling in F may bring in 1 guest.

I suspect this policy didn't exist in Oct '11.

Ah, well there you go. Isn't that freeloading? Chairman = Tata?

As far as I'm concerned, given that they won't officially let my wife into the lounge if she's travelling with me, we don't book Emirates if she's flying. This probably isn't good for their bottom line, but it's what they've mandated.

Was able to guest a colleague into F lounge at DXB T3 the other day - he was on the same flight (which is the requirement) and I am gold and I was in F. I did not even get a second glance when I asked to leave his name at the check in desk for the lounge because he was 5 minutes behind me. The dragons were perfectly accomodating.

I am taking 3 people to DXB and Nice(France) this summer.
They all take First Class and I only take Business.
Since no one has Emirates Status, can I not use First Class Lounge, right?
Are those First and Business lounge nearby in DXB?
Is there any chance Emirates allow me to stay with 3 first class passengers in First Class Lounge?

I doubt it; they can come and stay with you in the business lounge though of course

I heard a few times that a group of F pax wanted to guest in a J pax and it worked - just out of goodwill. No guarantee can be given of course. Give it a try.

Thanks Dave Noble and w00t!

I will just try and see what they say.
Personally, I feel better by myself in Business Lounge, but they need my help since they are novice travellers and do not speak English at all.
So I can excuse to say that the Emirates does not allow me to stay with them.

This is not lounge question, but the Emirates has the limousine services at Dubai and Nice, right?
If we have a group of 4 with a lot of luggage, shall we order two cars or do they have any Mini Bus type car, especially at Dubai?

Thanks in advance

If all of you are in F or J then call your local office, and book the service and mention that you are 4 passengers and would like 2 cars. I have done it a couple of times.
