wierd availability for F class

Hi folks!
Yesterday i was going trough my fake itinerary trying to see the prices for my trip end of January and everything was going smooth as a silk.
Today during lunch break i stoped by at my TA office to see if things are ok to book. To my surprise almost every leg of my trip in F class was full ( all my flights are on A380). I was explaining her that yesterday i had no problems so she phoned to Emirates office in Ljubljana. To the lady there all the same results were shown .
So as soon as i got home i tried to make that same booking again trough Emirates.com (italian site- english language) and all the F class seat were available .
I called to my TA and send her print screen of that "reservation". She forwarded to slovenian Emirates and they forwarded to Dubai.
I hope to get some answers tomorrow!

The legs are:
- EK098= FCO/ DXB- 28. 01.2012
- EK384= DXB/ HKG- 31.01.
- EK385= HKG/ BKK- 03. 02.

Anybody has any idea what is going on?

I don't know about those flights, but I have seen something similar recently for flights like MLE-DXB, MLE-CMB, and CMB-DXB. Expertflyer showed the cabins were wide open and ITA would price the itinerary in F but no online TA (expedia, orbitz, travelocity) could pull up the F seats or even J. They could only show Y.

Privyet,

For sure you are looking at adiscounted F inventory on your flights and they simply fly byeeeeee.

You either right away buy them or cry on them later

Have had a smilar experience.

Was trying to change the date of my SYD-DXB-MUC booking in A-Class. Seats available if you bring up the SYD-DXB and DXB-MUC flights separately, bring up SYD-DXB-MUC and they disappear.

Also, if your TA has your PNR on the screen, availability disappears too.

Seems this is not unique to EK. Same thing happened to me with EY.

This is called married segment logic and is present on most (all?) carriers. Basically, if a passenger is flying from AAA-BBB-CCC, the availability is often different than for passengers just flying AAA-BBB or BBB-CCC for whatever reasons.
