Hello everybody, new to the forum, so excuse me if i post a question that has been asked before, i can hardly imagine that this is the first time my mistake has been done.
Me and a friend is traveling to thailand in march, and as a little de-tour we decided yesterday to try the 380 in first/business on the bkk-hkg route.
when booking the flight i had my friend on the phone, as i payed for the both of us, i wasn`t paying enough attention (I usually am) when booking and entering names, and so i have done the mistake of putting my name in the passenger 2 box as well. so now i have two e-tickets, and my name on both. I called the Oslo-office, but the woman was grumpy and very little helpful and told me to fix it online.
I have sent an e-mail with my friends personal information, but havn`t go any reply yet.
What do you think, are we doomed with no hope, or can they sort this out for me/us?
again, sorry if i re-post an old topic, but i am a little frustrated by my own, stupid mistake..

First time I've heard of this. This can only be rectified on the phone. No chance of editing passenger details on the EK website or anywhere else on the web.
Keep calling until you get through to someone who can help. Try ringing the Dubai or Manchester helpline. They will probably be more helpful.

What are the cancellation fees since this is in First/ Business? I think you're better off calling Dubai. Slightly more expensive but more prompt service and they'll either fix it for you (change the name) or cancel the ticket and let you rebook.

If there is a change fee then you have to pay that to change the name, if there is no change fee then your in the clear to change it free of charge.
It happened to a friend of mine once but with BA and entered a wrong word to his name so he had to change that to match his passport, he changed but he also paid the change fee.

Emirates do not have an office in Oslo. You were redirected to their GSA in Stockholm. They are the most unhelpful people I have ever come across. Better call Manchester (European call centre) or Dubai as already mentioned. Then you will deal with Emirates staff and not someone from a GSA.
