Exchanging Business Class Lounge access

Hello,
I will be traveling on the route Frankfurt-Dubai-Jeddah and back. Flight on DXB-JED route which is on A380 is business class while the rest is economy. For my long stopover in DXB, I have already booked hotel in Terminal 3. Additionally, I can access Dubai CAA first class lounge using my Diners Club credit card. So I won't need a lounge access in Dubai.

MY question is, can I request the staff at check-in counter in FRA to grant me access to Emirates lounge at FRA instead of DXB? Will that work?
Please advise. Thank you in advance.

My experience would say no. I flew MAN-DXB-BKK and return, with only the DXB-BKK in J, the rest in Y.

As my connection between MAN-DXB and DXB was a very short connection, I asked if I could use the Emirates lounge at MAN, but I was politely declined.

In the end I had time for an orange juice in the lounge at Dubai before catching my connection

On another note, don't assume that the Diners club "First Class" lounge will be better than EK's Business Class lounge.

Don't you get

Don't you get access to the Bus Class lounge when you check-in for a Bus Class flight. If you check-in in FRA you should get into the lounge.

Oh oh, I thought that this was a given for the OP. Of course you get Biz Lounge Access in DXB for your flight in J DXBBKK.

Not so with EK. They are very stingy when it comes to lounge access. You can only access the lounge before the sector you actually fly in J.

Second that, tried it in Beijing with all my charme and the lounge was absolutely empty. Still no luck.

QR are far worse. The one time that I was involuntary downgraded on a J class ticket due to an aircraft swap, they escorted me (and the other downgraded pax) out of their Premium Terminal in Doha and over to the main building.
