Before Romano came it was 50/50 for good service in F.
Lets say you got some old F/A or there where many percers on the flight
and one of them was on F...
it was like they are doing you a faver that they serve you.

Now there are well trained F/A for F.
They have a smile on thier face for all the flight.
They work for your needs and not for thier needs
(almost like in Singapore air....)

Lior, I agree completely! Shame they are going to get rid of it next year though. I think that with the growing worldwide demand for long haul first class travel they are shooting themselves in the foot - basing their forward projections on past trends which have already changed.

The change in the service all across the classes actually started with Amos Shapira, the previous CEO.
The fact that there are mostly "younger" f/a in First and as Pursurs today is because of the rise in demand in fllights, During the intifada years, there wasn't a need for so many pursures that were trained before the intifada. As a result the "younger" pursures (in 2000 they were mostly around over 40 y.o) were assigned to fly as F/A and not pursures, so you got older F/A in First.
Today they are all back to flying as pursurs. You actually have even younger pursurs today (around 70) who are in their 30's. They were all recently trained as pursurs in the past 2 years.

big mistake to cancel F.
But if they can have a better B/F like CO or Virgin , then it's a good deal.

By the way .
another way to fly F is to buy A class , 4200-6000$ only

There are sometimes A class tickets to HKG for LESS than a D class business class ticket (more than W though)!
