Some new info concerning the 787
Another 787-9 has been ordered from leasing, while a 788 has been cancelled , seems like they are very happy with the 789. - Also ... all current operating 787 will have their engines replaced to Trent 1000 TEN by the end of the year (2018) I think two more a/c are left . TEN are the new generation Trents that don’t have the issues the other ones have. Also it’s the engines on the 787-10. Now that we know that UA is putting the 78J on TLV, I’m very confident we will see them in the LY fleet on a few years |
It wouldn't surprise me if they end up swapping to the 789 for their few 788 orders, its a better plane and would obviously offer more commonality for swaps ...
