If I'm not mistaken, DL had been flying 6 weekly from JFK, and on a 763. It looks like that's increased to 7 weekly, and on a 744. (At least for now.)

Also, US has committed to the new Envoy suites on all PHL-TLV flights. (This isn't increased capacity, but it's a major improvement on the seats in F.)

joshwex90:
1. Until 1st June DL flew 7 weekly 763. Posts in this theards are deleted after they become effective, so that may be why you cant see on the main post that DL is flying a 744. That will also continue during this winter, so that is also why it is not written as seasonal...
2. The envoy suite will be on most flights, not all of them.

Aren't these actually frequency reductions?

No, because the extra frequency was seasonal, so it returns to "normal" situation. However, I changed the section of these.

Ynet reporting that due to the current political situation, Turkish are going down from using the A321 th the A320 and B738.

I'm sure TK's flights have always been a mix on the route anyway.
Sometimes an A321, other times an A320, then B738 and sometimes an A330.

Come to think about it, that's no different to their other routs.

On the LHR-IST route they use every type of aircraft they have but the schedule usually means nothing and what aircraft you would actually end up with on the day is anyone’s guess.

Just wanted to point out, I found it ironic that after our whole discussion on the use of Hebrew on the LY board, you post an article in Hebrew!

Also, look at your spelling of "the."

Back to the content, last time I flew TK, it was a 738 anyways to IST

Tbh (are abbreviations allowed?), I am unsure what ELAL's position is on this matter, as I posted on the other thread.
Nonetheless, it looks to me like ynet is just looking for another 'ramification' (what about polysyllabic words?) of the story. But it sounds like there's nothing here.
(Both abbreviations and polysyllabic words may not be understood by some people).

Yes abbreviations are allowed. But I would've used IMHO as opposed to Tbh, but to each his/her own.

And I'm in shock - ynet blowing a story out of proportion (Gasp!)

Not to get too involved in the semantics, but TBH seems more correct (IMHO) than IMHO. I was obviously referring to a subjective view, hence IMHO would be redundant.
But who really cares.
Ein Chadash Tachas ha-Shemesh.
ETA: Oops .
What about Biblical quotes (although I may very well have misquoted). They lose their punch in translation.
