There's only Applebees I've ever been to in Calgary.. Not a big chain presence..

Moreso in the states..

It was ok for the desserts that we've got the last time..

Maybe I should. And come to think of it, there were a couple of people in the group that I could have skipped as well! Maybe a good thing all around. Might be useful as an excuse for someone that doesn't want to go out with a certain bunch ("I only eat vegetarian, and there's nothing there for me to eat").

Sounds like the best excuse is, sorry Doc put me on a low sodium diet. I looked at the applebee's menu and their salad is made out of salt cured lettuce, salt based cheese, and the main ingredient in the dressing is salt. it is no good for me.

You're luckier than I am. I've eaten there 4 or 5 times, but not by choice. In my opinion, the food is mediocre at best. It's better than nothing, but only sometimes, if you haven't eaten for a long time.

I know. It became some independent diner and then that closed too. Mill Avenue is a shadow of its former self, it depresses me every time I visit.

Yes, it is quite sad, but you know that it will pick up once the economy improves. Mill Ave and Scottsdale are the two "party districts" in the valley.
