Contrary to what Joseph said, I'm pretty sure even a fast food restaurant would be better of without him.
I like the "sirens" that went off during the supposed overnight emergency. LOL
Even though this show is getting a little boring at times with the same rheotric and such from Ramsay, I do appreciate how he is trying to mix it up with some different challenges.
Usually I'll put in some wild cards (final 6 members) after week 3, here's my list
Jim
Kevin
Robert
Ariel
Suzanne
Sabrina
Next one down: Lovely

I enjoy watching the show, but not as much as I once did. The part I like is imagining what it would be like if I could, just for one day, be like that...to say the first thing that really crosses my mind and not have to sweeten it up when bad things happen.

This season has certainly been...interesting this far.
I don't know if it's just me though but the production company, "A. Smith & Co." really does get to me. I watch 3 of their shows, Kitchen Nightmares, Hell's Kitchen, and I Survived a Japanese Game Show and their flare for over dramatics can get weary.....I also wish Ramsey would narrate the shows.
This weeks episode was better than the last two. Lovely needs to get out of there -- I'm sure she will be the next of the girls to go, followed by "Whoopi Goldburg".
The end of the show had me laughing pretty good. Hearing Ramsey say "I'm nobody's b****" was halarious!
Also, Amanda struggling with her math all evening was funny as well:
Ramsey: "What's 12, 3's?"
Amanda: "9"
I'd love to see this show with a complete group of competent chefs -- it would truly be a competition then. I'm going to say Kevin wins this year (assuming he's the guy I'm thinking of -- the Excutive Chef with the two injured ankles).

As much as I've always liked Robert, he had to go this week. I've always found him to be funny, especially about his own weight and eating habits. But his tirade against Andy was pretty surprising to me. God, I hope he doesn't come back!

So, who do you think it will be this season?

Well I have only one wild card left for the men, not so good. I'll post some of my recaps from previous weeks. Have been on the road the past 2 weeks and did not have any time to post on Hell's Kitchen.

From Episode 4
I think from this episode, the audience really got to see another part of Robert that was less than desirable. He just comes off as way too self-defensive and it seemed like there was no big deal. When he broke the broom after being berated by Chef Scott I thought Scott would have it in for him along the episode.
I really think Lovely taking 45 minutes to fill in an order was conveiently placed, they just wanted to get rid of her.
After dinner service, Suzanne proved how big of a mouth she really had.
Also, the reason Ramsay gave for eliminating Lovely was harsh, subtle but harsh.

From Episode 5
Did anybody get the feeling that during the course of special dinner for the marine, that the audience barely got a glimpse of the marine? During the challenge, I thought Suzanne looked pretty pathetic. Might have been one of the more boring episodes this season.

From Episode 6
I think Jim was very disappointing. It seemed from the start of the season that he was one of the more composed chefs and wasn't prone to being in your face (Van). I really think the low calorie challenge is the hardest challenge I've seen on Hell's Kitchen yet. The dessert offered by the men was hillarious. Seemed like something the girls might put up (no offense meant).
I really thought if Ramsay hadn't audibled for his final decision, Andy would have gotten the boot.

I don't know why I even watch this show anymore. It is so predictable and I'm getting tired of the yelling, the screaming, the obscenities and personal insults. It's amazing how the contestants take on the demeanor and behavior of Ramsey when dealing with each other.
The Top Chef judges are so different in their approach and that seems to carry over to the chefs in competition. You don't see them yelling and screaming and cursing at each other.
But, I'll probably watch Hell's Kitchen to its conclusion just to see which chef will win.

I don't want and of those chain smoking 'chefs' making my food. They can't possibly taste it to its fullest and know how the food actually tastes when all they do is smooooookkkkeee all day. oh wait and van was really digging deep for one last week, was all caught on camera.....
