I was in the middle of a business trip when I saw the previous episode. When The Borgata appeared on the screen, I so wanted to go...
Man I about wanted to tear my notebook in half when Chef Ramsay awarded the get out of jail free card to Andrea. How many second chances has she gotten throughout this competition? Ideally, I would love to see Andrea fall at the hands of Paula, who will then be crowned the head chef at the new restaurant at The Borgata.
This may sound like a dense question but how does somebody of Robert's stature not know about his heart condition?
Also, I could not recognize the space area that the new restaurant will be in, and I go to The Borgata quite often. Anyone care to fill me in?

Assuming that what we saw was real (granted, a big assumption), I'd like to meet the cardiologist who told Robert it was okay to delay medical treament and:
- Leave the Atlantic City-area hospital;
- Fly to Los Angeles;
- Not immediately check in to a hospital there, but;
- FIRST appear on a television program.
On the other hand, a quick skim of the WebMD article on this condition makes it appear like it's no big deal. If it isn't, then why not continue the competition? It seems like he could have outcooked almost anyone on the show.
Anyone on this board a physician?

Nothing wrong with your question at all. I have a few follow-ups.

Also, he's a pretty young kid, my guess is he probably avoided the doctor like the plague. I could see how he didnt know about his condition.

I am sad to see Robert go. I doubt it was life threatening, at least in the short term. I expect that they sent him back, told him to stop the stress in his life (Hell's Kitchen), to stop smoking and to drop a few pounds.
As far as knowing about the condition, my guess is that he is uninsured and probably doesn't go to the doctor for preventative medicine. The lack of decent medical insurance is a huge problem in the restaurant industry.
For those that are interested, interview

Going into the finals, I think Paula is the favorite (even with Lacey on her team).
Did anyone like that ending, with the heads on the platter? I have to admit, that was a bit scary.

Without the teams, I think Paula is the favorite. With the teams, I am not so sure. I am surprised LA went fourth as she was called the best line cook. I am equally as surprised Ben went first, as he is a pain in the neck and has lax quality control. However, putting aside everything else, I think Lacey will be Paula's downfall. Danny's win may not have given him much of an edge by allowing him to pick first; it may have given him the edge by allowing him not to pick last.

9.5!
My girlfriend predicted immediately. She said the domes were too big and following last year's show, she knew some of the others were coming back.
Where is Colleen when she is needed?
Lacey is worse than dead weight. She is incapable of making anything more complicated that fries.
Personally, I'd like to see a little "justice" in the next season by allowing Robert and Ji to come back.

SPOILERS BEWARE
I don't know about what you all thought but Paula seemed almost clueless at the beginning when she ran her kitchen. It seemed like in the final 3, Danny was the one who had no clue. I didn't like Danny's restaurant design. Everything clashed, all the colors and kudos to Ramsay for pointing out that hideous looking floor.
In the end, even though they were friends, I seriously believe that Andrea cost Paula the win. Even though Lacey got the brunt of all the blame for sabotaging kitchens, when did you EVER see Andrea NOT getting yelled at during service. She should've been easily gone if not for the free pass Ramsay gave her.
I go to The Borgata 4-6 times a year. I'm not so sure I'd drop by Danny's new restaurant, especially with his taste in design
