tough choices

1. Dim Sum (chicken feet a must)
2. Durian (ripe just fallen from tree)
3. Shaved foie with ginger cookies from Bestiari
4. Din Tai Fung steamed Shanghai soup dumplings
5. Fried chicken (Popeye's or/and Pollo Campero)
5.1 Fried chicken livers

And heaven would not be heavenly to me if they didn't have:

6. Warm sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream made fresh daily by one sweet Australian FT friend

Drinks: Iced tea and very, very cold Diet Coke (glass bottle only).

I can't imagine Heaven without Roy's chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream.

Further, how could it be heaven without the aptly named Filipino treat, Food for the Gods?!

One heck of an elaborate kaiseki meal; one that transcends all of time and all cultures, including non-Earth based ones.

That or Arby's.

French Toast. From a really small town in the middle of nowhere's cafe, loaded with butter and powdered sugar. SO GOOD.

Heaven is a giant raw bar with cold champagne, a crisp salad with avocado and hot french fries on the side. There is also a Wonka-like dessert and candy wing.

Just got back from travel in China. They use some sort of chemical (iodine?) to purify the tap water there and the scent was at times quite strong. Everything (coffee, soup, desserts) had a faint iodine scent & taste to it. After a while I became a bit sensitized to it and felt that I was bathing in and consuming toilet water.

It might have been better if I was dining on street food that is more heavily spiced, but the client booked us into a series of nice restaurants that had some very delicately prepared dishes that sadly also allowed the taste of the water to be detected My only reprieve was going to tea shops where they exclusively use distilled water in order to showcase the complexity and quality of their product.

As for bottled water, I tend to prefer Fuji
