Reykjavik, Iceland
There's a stand called 'Baejarins Beztu" in downtown Reykjavik where all the locals go for a hot-dog after a night on the town (it's like being in college again !!!!). Absolutely the best hot dogs I've had.
(They're rumored to add beer to the water they cook them in to get that special flavor.)

Harry's Cafe in Sydney makes an awesome Hot Dog. I would love one right now! Thanks to this thread I have decided I will be going there for a hot dog this Saturday night.

Dont forget Katz deli on Houston/ Ludlow in NYC....To me the most underrated (and all beef/ kosher) dog on the planet.

Zweigle's is the brand name (available in supermarkets there).
Just about every hot dog joint in the Rochester NY metro area features them, but the one I favor is a chain, "Bill Gray's" which features quarter-pound versions (along with an extensive menu of comfort food that's a cardiologist's delight).
As far as taste goes, if you're old enough, you'll remember Nedick's in NYC (not to be confused with the outfit calling itself "Nedicks" in Penn Station), and Zweigle's white hots are a close match. Nedick's used to serve them on a buttered, toasted "English " (top sliced) bun).
Tom Wahl's (same corporate umbrella as Bill Gray's but less extensive menu) also features Zweigle's (but their's are standard-sized dogs).
BTW, not every store carries them, but Boar's Head introduced (relatively recently) a Pork and Beef frank. Like their other products, it appears to be high-quality (for that kind of food).

Best Deal....Sam's Club, $1.50 for a jumbo Polish Dog (OK, but saved by being big) and a large dtyro cup of "sody water" (even red pop). No condiments but yeller mustard, onion, sweet relish and kraut.

A few weeks back, I was in Washington, D.C. and got a chance to eat at one of my favorite hot dog places - Ben's Chili Bowl.
I grew up on Pink's in Los Angeles and have eaten my share of Papaya Dogs, but Ben's is still my favorite.

Obviously this is a matter of personal taste, but I am not particularly fond of Pink's. The chilli on the dog is very good, but the dog by itself with some mustard is so-so in my opinion. My vote goes to Portillos in Chicago. Not the fanciest and there are many small stands with arguably better hot dogs, but consistently fantastic Vienna all beef dogs is why Portillos, Gino's East, and Chicago Chop House are always on my list of places to eat in Chicago.
