Looks like fancy mac ‘n cheese. :)
Speaking of ice cream, I've recently discovered Tillamook. I've enjoyed their cheese but had never tried the ice cream. My goodness, that is outstanding ice cream for a non super premium brand. So far, I've had vanilla, strawberry and today we bought Malted Moo Shake (vanilla malt flavor with chocolate chunks). Tonights dessert. So delicious and creamy. |

I’ve been eating the Tillamook ice cream for 7 years or so. They had some sort of berry flavor, maybe Huckleberry, that was my favorite. I haven’t had any lately, I think they have to fight for freezer space at retailers. Dreyers and Breyers are always featured on alternate weeks.

Fancy mac 'n cheese would be cacio e pepe. This looks like mac 'n cheese with fried chicken. :D

I was in line for a cashier today at Ralph's...the line to wait conveniently runs right in front of the ice cream case.
On an impulse I bought a pint of KROGER brand Brown Butter Bourbon Truffle ice cream (on sale $1.99). Don't laugh...it is really, really good. I would absolutely buy it again. Big chunks of truffles and super creamy with lots of brown butter carmely stuff. I am very impressed. Private Selections brand. You're welcome. |

When I was a kid, my uncle worked for Beatrice Foods (Meadow Gold), selling ice cream. He would always bring it to us when he was in town (he supplied my other uncle's grocery store a block away). A day seldom goes by that I don't have a dish, an ice cream novelty or some other dessert a la mode. |

I've had it and it is good. As a matter of fact, I think Kroger vanilla/vanilla bean/French vanilla are decent too and find them comparable to Dreyer's or Breyer's.

And they had some really yummy flavors to pick from .....vanilla would have been good with the big package of strawberries that I bought. Good to know about that one. |

One of the Better Store Brands is Publix when it comes to Ice Cream in tubs. But I like the Edy's brand as well as Haagan Daaz especially the Chocolate Chip varieties like Vanilla, Chocolate and Mint Chocolate. But I prefer the Novelties like Cones, Cookies, and Toffee Bars no matter the brand. |
