I believe that avocados are good for anti/cholesterol, according to my Kaiser nutritionist. It’ll be funny if they were wrong all this time. |

I usually use 2 Costco avocados and sometimes it results in leftovers. I’m going to test out only 1-1/2 and then having avocado slices, or I’ll just eat more avocado and less other stuff :-)

I'm a fan of fresh guacamole. I like just a touch of lime. When it's really limey, I assume it's old.

Cold shrimp, cantaloupe, strawberries and raspberries.

Avocado may be good for you but environmentally it is horrendous. Destruction of farm land to grow high'water consuming avocado production (ie uses large quantities of fresh water), obviously density/weight means transportation emissions are high relative to other products (even when adjusted for nutritional content). Obviously caveated if you are close to avocado production but for those of us in Europe... that said, not sure I can admit to practicing what I am preaching here...

I had to look up bagnarotte. I could eat the the cauliflower with kale pesto. But why would I want to?
I love cauliflower. Indifferent to regular pesto, I'll report back on the kale pesto, but I'm fairly sure that will be my least favorite course. |

Don't feel bad, I had to look it up too. And keep it between us...looks like it's made with mayonnaise, which my wife says she doesn't like, so let's not tell her.
