For those living in areas with ALDI supermarkets, one can find cheap, knock-off versions of the traditional Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, etc.) there. https://www.delish.com/food-news/a22...scout-cookies/

I ordered mine (9 boxes to start ) and got the shipment notification already. A dear FTer's daughter is selling them if anyone needs the link. PM me and I'll send it.

Keebler also sells the caramel delights. GS version is slightly more rich tasting.

Thin Mints and Caramel Delites/Samoas are where it's at.

You can also buy Keebler Grasshopper cookies at the grocery store, which are basically the same thing as Thin Mints.

I haven't had a GS cookie in years. When I search my zip code with the cookie locator, there's never anything nearby - right now, the closest booth location is 14.7 miles away in New Jersey. I had looked into shipping last year but IIRC, it was so expensive, I decided it wasn't worth it. Tried emailing the local council to see if there would be any nearby sales and got no response. So I've learned to live without Samoas (the Keebler version is just as good anyway).

I'll wait until my next-door neighbor's granddaughters come around selling them. Good thing I like the cookies, because I'd pretty much have to buy some even if I didn't!

If I wanted to provide max support to GS, I'd write a check. (consult your tax adviser re deductions.)
If I wanted their cookies, I'd bake them from scratch.
