Uses for ground chicken?

We ended up with about two pounds of ground chicken, and I'm at a loss as to what to make with it. Any suggestions?

Make an Indian seekh kebab. Ground chicken with spices formed into a long patty. Grill or broil.

I'd throw in some cumin, coriander, garam masala, tumeric, salt, and red pepper powder to taste (not sure how spicy you like things).

Same thing you'd use ground beef for (I have to admit it's merely o.k. for me, I prefer beef): Burgers, meat sauces for pasta.... Same goes for ground turkey. Just cook it very well......

Never thought about the spicy kebabs just mentioned.

Moroccan style chicken kefta?

Lots of decent Indian murgh keema dishes out there, too.

Or, it makes a good stuffing for a chicken ballotine or similar.

Chicken ballotine sounds very good.

Make a big batch of dumplings.

Ginger, garlic, cilantro, chinese five spice, sesame oil, pepper flakes, carrot, green onion.

They freeze and cook easily.

We actually prefer ground chicken or turkey for everything. It's all we have used for ~20 years now. Except burgers. Those must be 80/20 beef.

My mom can't have beef so we use it frequently. We do find we like it better if you've added herbs or spices for a little more flavor, like adding extra Worcestershire sauce when using it for meatloaf, etc.

You could brown it thoroughly with some chopped onion, and then make a chicken noodle soup.

Noodles
Carrots
Peas
Onion
Garlic
And anything else you like in such soups.

I like that idea too!

I also found a recipe for Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Shells that sounds interesting.

Gently tenderize in ghee or butter. Put into large pan. Next tenderize two onions in butter. Add both together and then coconut milk. Then add curry paste or you own mix of spices - voila - chicken curry. I make it frequently.

chicken tacos are good and easy. chicken meatballs... follow recipe for beef or veal ones and replace with chicken. chicken lasagna. chicken kebabs with tzatziki sauce.

You'd probably find a ton of recipes if you searched "ground turkey recipe" and then use the chicken.

I add minced garlic, ginger, just a bit of soy sauce and make little meatballs and fry them in peanut oil and serve with a ginger dipping sauce.
