I seldom buy it at a B&J store, it's close to $4 for a scoop which to me is not worth it

Found a nice gem of a gelato place in Rome: Hedera. Has more of a natural flavor, as opposed to the industrial taste that is at Oldbridge...

So... um... yeah...

I posted a few months ago about how I'd discovered H-D peanut butter & chocolate ice cream and was slamming it down. Well, I stopped buying it for a few months, and now I'm totally craving some more, but I can't find it anywhere.

Has anyone seen that flavor recently? Or was it just a temporary thing?

I'm having such a craving today and was hoping to have me some after I come back from the gym tonight.

I haven't seen it either in my local store. It's also a favorite.

I stopped eating all ice cream for a couple of months and I dropped back a pant size! The warm weather, however, ended that streak.

I grew up in Oregon, so Tillamook is my brand of choice. While visiting OR this summer, we stopped at the factory and got our fill. We had a big family group, so we opted for the "Ice Cream Adventure"--one scoop of every flavor they offer (30+). I felt like a Ziggy Pig.

In Taiwan, sadly, Tillamook ice cream is not available (though the cheese is avail at Costco).

HD ice cream is ridiculously pricey, so I never buy it.

B&Js is starting to show up in some markets, and it is reasonably priced (for Taiwan), about $5-6/pt.

Our local grocery also started carrying some Australian and NZ brands that are pretty good, including a macadamia caramel and a honey almond.

HEB (a Texas-based grocery store) sells it.

Currently priced at $2.50 a container, if you buy 2 of them and use an in-store coupon.

Tillamook is quite good. I've been hitting their Udderly Chocolate pretty hard recently. Not quite at the level of HD Black Cherry Amaretto Gelato good, but it has the advantage of coming in a container that's 4x the size of Hagen Dazs, (56 ounces) for not much more $ than an HD 14-ounce container.

Häagen-Dazs Vanilla. It's take it or leave it with the other flavours but the vanilla is the best I've personally tasted.

Fortunately in Sydney there are a number of good gelato places, with the Amedei 70% dark chocolate gelato from Pompei's Gelateria at Bondi Beach a personal favourite (espeically when paired with a blood red orange or white necatrine sorbet).

HD Peanut Butter / Choc Ice cream is a favorite of mine as well. Consistently available here in Ohio (to the demise of my diet).

Have a pint in the freezer right now.

Best ice cream in Sri Lanka is Elephant House Brand at number one and Cargill's brand at number two. They're fantastic, and cheap compared to ice cream in other countries.
