It appears to me that this is degenerating and no helpful, civil, or substantive points are being made. I suggest that if any two FT'ers wish to snipe at one another they do so via PM, not on-thread.

There is a huge, and obvious, difference between excellent service and competent service. Anyone who has experienced excellent service knows this.

But there is also no difference between excellent service at an Applebees and excellent service at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
