Flame-broiled. Delicious. Maybe my flight home from ATL will divert quickly so I can grab one ;)

I'll be there next week, added it to my food itinerary :D

Best burger for me is at Standard Diner in ABQ.

1/2-lb Bourbon-butter burger, as featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives.

Homemade buns, cooked (correctly) to order, drowning in that bourbon maple butter. Side of sweet potato fries to sop up the buttery mess. It's a two-napkin eater, for sure.

Very rich. Can't finish it, but it's good.

The best I've had is the Green Chili Cheeseburger at Bobcat Bite on the outskirts of Santa Fe, NM.

The guest burger at Bar Bouloud in New York is fantastic. Great beef, pork belly and a strong umami/ horseradish sauce to make it extra moreish.

If we're talking beef burgers, I really like The Counter in Times Square again in New York City. It's really reasonably priced for New York and you can pick from a ton of toppings. I did a third pound burger last time with blue cheese, au jus and cucumbers and it was phenomenal. Plus, their Parmesan fries are great.

I am a huge fan of the two Bay Area locations I've been to. I don't often get beef, but theirs is very good. They also have, after offering it as a special a few times, added bison as a regular menu choice. I was thrilled to hear that--it's delicious!

I'll second the Parmesan fries, too.

Jus Burgers in Perth and Melbourne, Australia makes a pretty mean burger

I do like the Flemings burger especially for six bucks.

Was in Flagstaff over the weekend and found a little place called Diablo Burger. Save the English muffin bun... and the free range, antibiotic free, locally sourced blah blah blah, it definitely had some great flavor to it. And they serve it mid rare always! And the fries were really good to.

Hi guys, I will be in NYC upcoming week and want to know where I can get the best burger in New York City!

And if you say it's the Corner Bistro, I'm gonna smack you in the face!! Yes, this is going to be a HIMYM-esque journey ;-)

If you cannot make it to Peter Lugers in Brooklyn for lunch I would say go to BLT Burger on 6th Ave between 11th and 12th Streets.

Shake Shack is another option, I am partial to the Madison Square Park location.

I'm partial to The Counter in Times Square where you can build your own burger. It's pretty reasonably priced too. I usually go for lunch when I'm in New York and craving a burger.

Mick's Karma Bar won best burger in OC at the Golden Foodies last year. I'm kind of addicted. Most of their staff knows my order.

I really wanna try this burger, though.

These days, a copacetic burger is passable as long as good sweet potato fries are present.

au cheval in chicago best burger ever.

Notables in Calgary is still the best burger nowadays. Provolone drizzled onto gourmet beef/pork patty grilled to perfection, on a multi grain bun, served with gourmet salad.

Stopped in this week at my local restaurant and they took my favorite burger off the menu. That's cheddar and sautéed mushrooms. They did end up make shifting my favorite by taking out the bacon on the 'Stockman' burger and adding sautéed mushrooms. I always have salad and avoid the fries nowadays.

Based on my extensive research of the New York burger scene (partially chronicled here), I would agree.

No offense to the PL Burger (which i think is very good) but its not in the same category as the Minetta Tavern BLB.

Im probably biased but 'The Fridge" Burger at Ditka's Steakhouse downtown Chicago is my favorite burger around.

I would take a Five Guys ant day...

Just got back from Miami where I ate at the Beer & Burger Joint. There's three in the area though I was at the location on Bay Blvd. in Miami Beach. Excellent little spot with good service and a ton of burgers you can choose from, or the option to build your own. I made one with Waygu Beef on Ciabatta topped with goat cheese and cucumbers. Fries are great too and you can get them done in truffle oil or duck fat. Plus the beer selection, both on tap and in bottles, is excellent.

I vote for the Village Burger at Parker Ranch Center in Waimea, Big Island, HI.

I had the Kahua Ranch Wagyu Beef Burger. The beef is grown in the hills above the village, processed locally, and ground every day.

The burger reminded me of how burgers tasted when I was young (in the 1960's).

Good, but I would rank Raoul's Bar-only Burger and Benoit (NY not Paris) burger as better.

Raoul's comes with the au poivre sauce that their fantastic steak-au-poivre (and bar steak) comes with and

Benoit's comes with a decadent Bernaise sauce.

Always got told by friends that MAX Burger (Swedish chain) got good burgers, but never got to try it while in Sweden/Scandinavia.

On a recent trip to Abu Dhabi stumbled upon one of their outlets (didn't know they existed outside of Scandinavia), was hungry, and gave it a try. 14 Dirham (2.80€) for the "Frisco meal" (http://www.maxarabia.com/en/UAE/Food...s/Frisco-Meal/) - it was meant as one of their smaller burgers meal, and it tasted really good.

French fries as sides also tasted really good - freshly fried for sure.

It wasn't the best Burger I've ever had, but damn tasty for a chain one - and at only 60% of the costs you would pay at McDonalds for a similar meal (McTasty comes relatively close) definitely a great deal. So yes, for chain burgers, MAX got me sucked in now :D

The Denny's Classic Burger at $6 including fries is remarkably good.

Next time ya'll are in Austin, you'll have to drive out to Alamo Springs (not far from Luckenbach). Texas Monthly had a photo of their burger on the cover in their best burgers in Texas edition.

The Abbey Burger at 7 Monks in Traverse City, MI. Had it last week, and I can't tell you what made it so good, but it was the best burger I have had in quite some time.

Everybody has their personal favorites. For a chain, Kraze Burger (a South Korean company) has some pretty good burgers. When I was stationed for a year in Bosnia in the 1990s, I really had dreams about Krystal burgers. First thing I did when I got to the States was to run to a Krystal near Fort Benning! I felt I was welcomed home!

The Globe Hong Kong in Sheung Wan.

It's not the best but it is one that I keep looking back on. The organic beef burger might be hands down, the best in Hong Kong. It's a burger I kept wanting more of and was sad when I was down to the last bite.

Friendly American owner, locally produced beef, buns from the bakery a few blocks down, hands down the best burger I've ever had.

Now moved into bigger location around the corner and renamed BlackDog Bar and Grille/Cantina. Burgers come in three sizes and how can you not like a burger named "Drunken Husband, or Heart Attack, or Smelly Frenchman?"

Best burger I ever ate as well. $2 for a .5l local beer helps too.

The Nook in St. Paul, MN has the best burger I've ever eaten, hands down. My wife prefers the Blue Door Pub, also in St. Paul.

Honorable mention to the Corner Bistro in NYC. It's pretty plain, but was a darn good burger.

The "colossal burger" (pastrami burger) I had today at Galaxy Hamburgers in Cerritos, CA is the best burger I've had since the last one I had there around 10 years ago. Everything on their menu is good, most of it excellent. There are many similar excellent burger joints in the greater LA area, but Galaxy is the benchmark.

Last month I had a great burger at De Burgerij in Antwerp, Belgium. Great restaurant for a good burger.

I like cheese burger very much. McDonald, KFC and Subway are the best place the provide variety of burger and delicious too.
