Club Pacific, Brisbane Australia

I was surprised to get a great burger at the Pacific Gold Club in Brisbane recently.

From their menu
Wagyu Burger: 100% Wagyu beef pattie served on a toasted bun with bacon/ egg/ pineapple/ bacon/ beetroot/ lettuce and tomato with salad and chips $14.50

Yes, $14.50 for a burger is expensive, but with Wagyu, it's money well spent. I got my beef cooked blue and it was just fantastic.

The barbeque burger at Gourmet Burger Kitchen in London. It has something to do with the relish they use.

OK tried a great burger today at a chain joint called Foster's in Manassas, VA they have places all over the map....char-grilled and really good! For the people in SW Florida, they are finishing one in Cape Coral with one to come next in Ft Myers.

I'll have to add another New York spot to the list. Big Nick's on the corner of Broadway & 77th. Try the Port Cheddar Cheeseburger..

Old Homestead Steakhouse on 9th Ave between 14th & 15th. It bills itself as the oldest steakhouse in NYC. It's right on the cusp of the meatpacking district and southern Chelsea. One of their sirloin burgers topped with anything is to die for. At $15+ for the burger alone ( no sides or toppings included), it's probably one of the more expensive burgers in NY also.

Okay this is a little stretch but Famous Dave's BBQ has a BBQ burger with bacon that is about 2500 calories of pure joy!
