LOL - me neither even though their main rivers are alive and well, unlike ours! But, fortunately for us, giant freshwater prawns are farmed in natural habitat (ponds) and well regulated. I'm sure the Peninsula brand won't be sourcing any poor quality foods!

Breakfast:
River Cafe & Terrace - The Peninsula Bangkok
Farmer breakfast (Eggs, sausage rolls, and herb Hollandaise)
Lobster Bun (salmon roe, egg custard, and dill)
Grilled pork belly
Assorted pastries
Fruits
Cappuccino & espresso

Nothing better. Do you have a good recipe? I've been trying different NYT recipes, trying to find the best. I've found three incredible ones (so far) and I haven't even tried the "Perfect" or the "Quintessential" yet and it doesn't include the chocolate chunk shortbread, with is very high on my cookie list.

I finally found a disturbing Aidell’s sausage product - their chicken jalapeo bacon cheddar mixture sausage which was on sale at Safeway. I grilled them with onions and sliced them for a Sammie for my luncheon. The inside included black beans. So heinous. I sighed and ate my sandwich because I was in a tight spot inbetween work and fetching my child at school. No time to make something else. I hate to waste food but I’m going to have to compost the rest of the sausages (they have an opportunity cost with sodium) and probably only buy chicken Apple sausage from that company; only Evergood spicy ones for me for the future.

heinous sausage sandwich
kettle chips - salt & vinegar / Jalapeo

I am surprised that the black bean flavor was that overpowering with all of those other ingredients. But I agree that it does seem like an odd thing to have in there.

forgot to say that Costco has the big kettle bag of jalapeo - I know its mega value but its too big for me and I have this idea that these big bags have a fast shelf life once the bag is opened. So Im buying the smaller bag for $2 at Safeway on sale. I think that ONLY jalapeo was available.

We eat the Aidells brand products regularly. Many have little to no sugar. I like using apples in place of adding sugar. Their meatballs are as good as their sausage if you dont feel like making them from scratch.

Shelf life isn't the reason I avoid them. The reason I won't buy big bags is they don't have a very long life due to their natural predators when released into the wilds of our house. To that point, we've never had a bag of kettle chips so long that they get stale.

I've tried quite a few of the sausages and have found them to be hit or miss. I'd have to look up the flavors to recall which I like and which I don't. I also like the low sugar and relatively low calories. I don't think I've tried one with black beans in it yet, but would probably side with Gaobest that they don't belong in a sausage.

Ive never seen it in any AZ stores Ive visited. They have the thick crinkle cut, with Himalayan salt, that I buy regularly.

I buy the 8 or 13 ounce Kettle Jalapeo at my local Kroger supermarket.

That looks scrumptious. What kind of crust is that?

I slow roasted an heirloom chicken last night and had some breast meat with toast and honey crisp apple for breakfast this morning.
