I think carrots do best with a slow roasting rather than frying. I would do the green beans for sure. I have no opinion on rutabaga---doesn't exist in my culinary world.

I love turnip crudites! So much that I've eaten too many and had an upset tummy. The only times I've had them cooked were in stews and they were a rather unappetizing mush. This gives me an idea though. I'm going to try lightly stir frying some soon... Hmmm.

Discovery of the season has been fruit clafoutis in the air fryer, my favourite so far has been caramelised pineapple.
For the clafoutis topping whisk together 1 egg, 13g regular flour, then add 20g sugar, pinch of salt and, finally 100ml milk. Pour over the fruit (I pre-caramelise the pineapple) and cook at 180C for 15-20 minutes.
As a finishing touch just drop in a few chunks of butter into the poured out batter for a more luxurious result, but it’s honestly fine without it.
It’s not so different to making Yorkshire pudding but tastes more like a baked custard.
