Your food confessions
Bless me, Emeril, for I have sinned ....
I have a weakness for rotten peanuts and burned popcorn. The peanuts are a chance find, but I burn the popcorn on purpose. That way, I get what I want and no one ever steals popcorn from my bag twice.

I like the flat bread pizza from quiznos on the AC flight from last month. Got sold out quick, had to fight for the last two for my family. Got it, tasted like rubber
, but tasted better because it was the last two chicken pizzas.^

I put ketchup on almost everything. The two exceptions are most vegetables and chinese food in America.
I use duck sauce on chinese food. My wife calls it my chinese ketchup.

My confession is that I'm a 'trend' eater: I'll eat something that I like so much that I will then eat it constantly over the next few days. After a few dajys of indulgence, I grow sick of the food item, and go on to something else.

Me too!! When I get a 'taste' for something, its pretty serious. Except it usually takes me longer than a few days.
I went on a rueben sandwich bender once. Every day for lunch for a couple months. Then I didn't eat another one for like 6 years.
Same with marinated artichoke hearts.

Last year I was hungry and the nearest place was a MaccyD. I hadn't been in one for years but I really was hungry. I ordered a sausage & egg McMuffin. As luck would have it you got 2 for 1 in a promo that was running. My God I was hooked on those things for 2 weeks!

Stagg Chilli in a can, with vegemite on toast....Only when I'm hungover, and it sure does the trick!
When I was in HS we used to go on Outward Bound (10 day bushwalking caving rafting abseiling type thing) every year and we had to carry all our food with us so a lot of what we had was canned or dehydrated. My lunch speciality was a Ryvita biscuit with canned tuna, a slice of cheese, creamed corn, no names SPAM and canned beetrot all on top. The degustation of camp menus I would say!

McD Fish O Filet
I do love the McDonald's Fish O Filet sandwich. The McD near me always has them on sale for $1.29 on Fridays, and I'll order 2-3 of them if I have nothing better planned for dinner (or am too lazy to cook.) I remember they were 89 cents when they started the promotion. Before I eat them, I rotate the top bun 360 degrees to more evenly spread out the tartar sauce.
