Unfortunately I'm on medication and the doctor has very strongly recommended against alcohol consumption.
Therefore I have gathered 11 different kinds of ginger beer.

Reeds
Sioux City
Goose Island
Ginger People
Maine Root
Bundaberg
Barritt's
Fever Tree
JCS
Fentiman's
D&C

I'll take one for the team and will offer to consume all of your beer, so that you don't slip and consume alcohol when not recommended. :D

Fever Tree makes a ginger beer? Interesting. One of my favorite summer drinks is a Dark n' Stormy.

Trying not to drink too much at the moment as training for a marathon...

Drinking a six pack the night before the race doesn't count as carb-loading?

I've never had a ginger beer mixed with anything. I just got used to drinking it as a child since my mother used to make it. It's still a very good summer drink. I'm starting with the Reeds as I suspect it will be the worst since it is the only one that fructose instead of cane sugar.

Try it one day. Use a half-way decent dark rum though like Meyers or Gosling Black Seal.

But drinking during the race can give you the boost of confidence you need to win the race/get the girl/dance amazingly

Tecate, Modelo, Miller Lite, Budweiser, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Sierra Nevada, Coor's Lite, and Smithwick's

I know, I know, I'm a huge beer snob, only the best, etc.

The Tecate mixes well with soju
