Heady Topper

My goal will be to leave Asheville at the end of the month with 2-3 mixed cases of beer; various styles, various breweries. The most interesting of the 5 six packs I’ve bought so far is the Hi-Wire Zircusfest Octoberfest Lager. Anderson Valley Melon Gose should be interesting as well.

Had my first Sam Adams Octoberfest the other weekend at the golf course. Weather needs to cool down a bit to really enjoy it.

My investment really needs help. I bought SAM at around $900. Part of my grandson’s college fund.

I bought it around $200/share, so I'm still in decent shape. My parents bought shares when they had their IPO and shares were $15/share.

Is this at their North Carolina brewery?

Yes. We are in Asheville for August. My only memories of Ft Collins predate New Belgium. I lived in Denver in 76-77 and Ft Collins was referred to as a cow town. I’m sure it’s come a long way. Of course, I’m told Asheville was dreadful back in the 70’s as well.
