Sam Smith winter pack was awesome! I also got a Sam Adams seasonal pack. As the only beer drinker in the house, and a light one at that, I enjoy trying different brews almost every night.

Dogfish Head 90-Minute IPA
Avery the Maharaja Imperial IPA
Warsteiner
Yuengling
Stone Ruination Imperial IPA
Anchor Steam
I'm a big IPA fan, if you couldn't tell.
Edit to add: Forgot I picked up a 6-pack of Sam Adams Oktoberfest. I could hardly contain my excitement at finding some this late in the year.

Very nice. I prefer the 60 to the 90 I must say, which is nice since its about 1/2 the price. It's also available at my local bar, so while my friends drown themselves in Bud Light, I can enjoy something much nicer. Ruination is a mouthful, if you aren't into hops, you certainly won't like it.

Finished off previous stock, now I have in my fridge:
Lagunitas Brown Shugga
Maui Brewing Coconut Porter
And in a kitchen cabinet, a 3 liter bottle of Stone Double ....... Ale.
Apparently the full name of this beer is not allowed to be posted in FT.

I'm a HUGE IPA fan. Love the stuff!
Right now I'm stocking:
Flying Monkeys Hoptical Illusion - a bit less intense than what I usually choose for a pale ale, but delicious when you want something a little lighter.
BrewDog Punk IPA - Now this is what I call an IPA. Delicious, with just the right amount of bitterness on the finish. It keeps me coming back!
Propeller ESB - A halifax brewery, this one is new for me. Very nice bitter!
Southern Tier Creme Brulee Stout - Dessert in a glass. This is interesting, and really does taste just like a creme brulee, with that caramelized sugar taste. It's lovely but VERY intense. The extremely potent alcohol content (10%) makes it best consumed in very small quantities.

Do yourself a favor and get some Pliny the Elder. None of the IPA's you mention will compare. For the Avery IPA's, try the duganA. Maharaja has too much of a soy aftertaste for me.

There's an interesting variant of the Dogfish Head 60 and 90 Minute IPAs; if you're somewhere with both of them on tap or you are ordering a bottle of each, try a "Dogfish 75". That's a 50/50 mix of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs and I, for one, think it brings forward the best qualities of each beer. It's one of my more regular orders at their brewpub in Delaware or the Dogfish Head Alehouses in the D.C. area.

This thread is great, I've written down a bunch of the beers mentioned to purchase now that I'm down to a few Sea Monsters, some Trader Joe's Anniversary 2009's and a smattering of Stone and Ballast Point ales.

Sadly, nothing is new in the fridge lately...just got back from Mardi Gras though, drank a ton of Abita! I think the Andygator is still my favorite of theirs...especially when I drink it walking down the street, since I can't do that in Texas!
