I don't know, but I'm sure if you email Delta they will take care of it for you!

I had to try again after all this discussion, and the web site showed that I was able to get a D100.
I'll know in about a week, but we'll see.

I love it, you guys are great! No offense taken at all. But *if* that were to have happened do you think the certs would both be useable? Think DL would catch it?

It's really too much to expect for them to catch such an error. If you hand an apparently valid certificate to a ticket agent, you will get a ticket. And nobody will look at that certificate ever again.
This is a bit like the rare occasions -- really rare! -- when Delta double-credits a flight (i.e., credits the flight you were ticketed on, plus the earlier one on which you flew standby). They never fix these problems. It's not worth the bother.

Spot:
re: your Jan 16th post. Did you receive your 20,000 mile award certificates?
Has anyone tried this more recently to see if perhaps it still works?

My friend's got just about 20,000 miles with Delta and wants to burn it if possible.
Does someone know if this offer is still available?

For the heck of it, I tried to redeem a D100 20,000 domestic certificate on line last week and it was rejected. Said there was no such award.
So . . . I guess it really is gone (for now!).

It is not available anymore. But if it comes back, I hope that someone tells us!
