excuse me, but what is dl flight 9681? i'm looking at my timetable, and dl numbers don't even come close to going this high other than af code shares (in the 8000's). it also doesn't show up on the website. everything prices at over $2000.
is this a test flight or something?

Flight 9681 starts tomorrow (well at least it exists tomorrow). If you type it in online
and check the schedule TOMORROW you will find it. If you go through the reservation process online and select departure time starting at 7AM, you will find the special.

You're right, it is not in the timetable.
Looks like a new flight out of ATL:
departs ATL 01:25pm, arrives SFO 03:35pm
It does operate tomorrow, Oct 5.
Perhaps they introduced it to have more capacity for int'l pax connecting to SFO via DL219, leaving at 3:40pm?
For those pax, it's the shortest connection if one is arriving from CDG or AMS.
