Agreed. ^

I did buy the TC for $800, any idea when the bonus would show up in the account. Also they did include me a form to fill up for a free companion cert ticket within 48 cont. states, ^ ^ through some travel agency in FL.

Yes.. it's a credit not a cash advance

I just called AMEX check card dept. They said if you purchase the card using AMEX card, it will be a credit to you account. And yeah, there is a travel companion certificate as well. But just remember...

This offer is available ONLY online at www.americanexpress.com/deltatcc
You must enter Promo Code 202 and your SkyMiles member number on the order page. And enter your skymiles number.

An AMEX CSR told me yesterday that the 2500 miles bonus can only be had once. Can anyone confirm?

I diid this a few weeks ago, and before placing my online order, I called a CSR. She said it is treated as a cash advance but no advance fee is assesed. I was only charged $814.95. However, I paid off my account immediately after since Cash Advances have NO grace period.

??? I was told I could buy it up to four times. That's 4 x 2500 I will receive. Did anyone else get the same answer?

2 questions, 1 comment

1 - where do you enter your skymiles number?

2 - it shows you only need a $700 charge now

3 - it asks for your SS# - does anyone know if this pulls a hard inquiry?

thanks!

just to confirm - you get 2500 bonus miles, but then the card with $700 earns no miles

so basically you are getting 1800 bonus miles

is this math correct?

You already collected 700 miles when you purchased it on your Delta Amex card along with any purchase-related bonuses you might be eligible for this month.

Get Cash
The Travelers Cheque Card may also be used at ATMs where you see the American Express logo. After you input your PIN, choose “Checking” to access your cash. Please note that at some ATMs outside the United States, you may be required to choose "Credit" rather than "Checking." Your maximum daily withdrawal is $400. If you reach that limit, you may still use the Card to purchase goods and services, as long as you have funds available. The Card will be charged a $2.50 fee for each ATM use. Additional bank fees may apply.

Just to clarify, what do I put down as the promotion code?

A) Promo Code 202
B) 202

A or B?

Thank you.
