Hi Widget,

I am hearing so many good things about the MCO CRC that I am now really wanting to go check it out!

Thanks!

Mikey

The MCO Crown Room is one of the biggest reason I maintain the membership. I agree this is one of the nicest I have been to!

I agree, but when it comes to courtesy, friendliness, etc. nobody tops the people at HNL!

Funny you mention that. We might be going to Hawaii this next year. I'll have to check it out!

I was just there. MCO and HNL are indeed two gems in the CRC system.

I shall miss them both.

Hey Spiff,

Why will you miss them? Are you not renewing your membership?

I'm not flying any paid revenue tickets on Delta next year; all my non-AA business is going to US.

Quailfying for CP on US and being able to upgrade most international fares as well as unlimited domestic upgrades won out over a nice CRC system and top-flight employees, alas. I can't hope to requalify for PM under the new rules, so I'd have to spring for the CRC membership too. At least for now, I get into both AA and US's clubs w/my Qantas card.

Crown Room at MCO

I wonder if any of you DL gurus can tell me what I can expect in the DL Crown Room at MCO. I am travelling Upper Class with VS and so have access to this lounge. I know it is not going to be like a VS lounge with their unique branding and services but just wondered what it will be like.

Many thanks for your comments.

The MCO CRC is generally accepted as one of the best ones in the Delta CRC system.

Would be perfect, but...

It is one of the few crown rooms that does not have witeless connectivity. My only complaint. Other than that, it is great. It is wide open, rarely crowded. Nice, Florida furniture. Wish all of them were like this one.

Hi rcslt,

I have used the Delta CRC at MCO when travelling UC with VS ( Gold)

They have a bar with a variety of soft drinks and free alcohol. Coffee is also available.

Limited snack selection so if you want to have something to eat you may want to eat in one of the snack bars in the general area.

Other than that it is a very nice lounge.

Two boarding annoucements will be made ( one for preboarding call) and one final call after most econ pax are boarded so you do not get crushed!!

Regards
