Charging a DM for C+ on an award ticket

Getting the error above. The app wants me to pay for comfort + on a domestic award ticket.

Perhaps the next enhancement?

Just booked a ticket and noticed there's a slightly new design/UI to the purchase pages. It basically defaults you to the express purchase method.

Not a huge deal, but my entire name is lowercase now - "goose lee" instead of "Goose Lee".

I'm sure this doesn't affect anything, but just an odd choice. I'd think if anything would default, it'd go to all caps.

Website and app are currently not reflecting status when showing seat availability. Phone reps confirm this is a known issue and they're working on it.

I had an interesting experience last week when trying to buy tickets for me and my family on Delta.com . It kept erasing the process of the reservation/purchase . Finally I called the “web help” folks . Helpful but it took almost two (2) hours to purchase 1st class tickets (domestic) on the phone . They had to call me back since it was obvious there were having trouble with the website reservation system . Oddly enough this week I attempted to buy tickets on Air France (Premium) which as far as I know is managed by Delta and had the same experience . So I called on the phone and without acknowledging any technical problems the ( always polite) agent began asking me for all the data so she could do it manually over the telephone (!) . I did not have the time to go trough this again so I told the agent I wanted to think about it . I am considering Lufthansa or BA. Anyone else have had similar experience lately? Thank you!

Same thing happened to me today. Also anyone having issues with BB App - attempts to change seats generate fatal errors every time and attempts to change flights generate messages that my name is incorrect (even tho I'm logged into the app). Sigh!

I am responding to my own ? since there were no responses. This for the benefit of someone someday.....( call it solidarity amongst travelers) After some research in the AF page I found a way to contact the "web help" folks by email ( not easy since some of the help links have not worked for years ) .I got a response from a supervisor suggesting I do everything on the phone (...) . Also she stated she would have a "tech" do a mock run of my travel itinerary just in case... A few hours later the website ( at least for that route ) was bug free and I was able to take care of my business in less than 10 minutes. VOILA!!

I bought two tickets a couple of days ago and had no problems. One of them I logged in during the purchase, the other I was logged in from the beginning. In both cases I selected C+ seats.

I just received a call from Delta. It seems there was a system glitch a few days ago and lots of transactions did not go through. It was odd because it looked like it went through on my end. Anyway, the rep completed the transaction manually It sounded like they were making LOTs of these calls

Just logged on and was able to confim comfort choice seats.
