I did not have the time to go trough this again so I told the agent I wanted to think about it . I am considering Lufthansa or BA. Anyone else have had similar experience lately? Thank you!
I am responding to my own ? since there were no responses. This for the benefit of someone someday.....( call it solidarity amongst travelers) After some research in the AF page I found a way to contact the "web help" folks by email ( not easy since some of the help links have not worked for years ) .I got a response from a supervisor suggesting I do everything on the phone (...) . Also she stated she would have a "tech" do a mock run of my travel itinerary just in case... A few hours later the website ( at least for that route ) was bug free and I was able to take care of my business in less than 10 minutes. VOILA!!
