full disclosure: I have done both, multiple times ... sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t

In this case, it's an RJ connecting to an international flight, so I think I'd have more flexibility. Especially with a 40 minute connection. Does anyone know if PMs ever get Porsche transfers?

I'd rather go via ATL, but that DTW-AMS A350 flight is really tempting too.

If you can't be flexible, have a stiff drink instead.

If he'd solved it right the first time, he wouldn't have to resolve.

What would you do? We had reservation FC full fare booking for months: MCO-SLC-PDX. We had also picked 2 A/B for seats. Equipment MCO-SLC has been 739er. Two weeks ago Delta changed our seats to 1 A/B a bulkhead.
I check our upcoming flights everyday and caught change. Called with "equipment change and computer moved you". I said to supervisor I am 6'6" with a bad knee due for replacement in March and please move us back. No equipment change as it always has been a 739 er. No can do. I called back and gave option of change to MCO-ATL-PDX and could see availability of FC seats. "No the eleven seats you see on line are not in my inventory. You would have to take main cabin seats." Only seven seats in FC were shown as unavailable. "Those available seats you see online have already been paid for and people just have not selected their seats yet." Yeah right. Anyone?
Currently 8 of 20 taken on first leg and 10 of 20 taken on last leg. BTW did we get bumped by a Diamond Medallion or someone important from congress?

Probably a federal air marshal was assigned to one of your seats.

Call again and request the change. If you are unsuccessful, hang up and call again.

You may also want to try contacting Delta Air Lines on its Twitter account.

Good luck to you, JetstreamJ; and please report back.

To be sung to the tune of "DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD":
Ding dong the super bowl's done
The nasty game, the wretched game
Ding dong Super Bowl is done....

Now maybe traffic will get back to normal and we can actually enjoy our own city, get into restaurants, find parking, etc.

Welcome back Jack.

ADDED: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
