For your next visit, Kipper, here are the starting instructions for an M4 Sherman tank:

For trucks of that era, starter buttons are on the floor just to the right of the accelerator pedal. With the truck in neutral or the clutch depressed, set the choke appropriately, turn the ignition on, and with your right foot depress both the accelerator pedal & the starter switch all the way down until the engine starts. Adjust the choke as it warms up.

The easy way is booking UA154 as a through flight and then calling CS to get them to split up each segment to ensure that the RPU is applied properly to all segments. Just don't sit in 1AB or 2AB as on the older (mid cabin lav) 738s, 2AB is reserved as the pilot rest, while on the newer 738s, the rest is 1AB.
