I'm still in Mardi Gras mode - please use Zulu time.

(For those not familiar with Mardi Gras in New Orleans, The Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club is one of the mainstays of Carnival.)

it's now approx 2030EST (1930CST, corresponding I believe to 0130Z) and our friend kipper has been unusually silent with respect to repartee ...

Yes.

Most days, probably.

before 6:30pm ET (less than an hour from this post)
That might be possible on some days.

LOL!

Sorry--I had a sewer authority meeting after work, and then cooked dinner.

I trust there was no relationship to the sewer meeting and cooking dinner

Today went much better than I anticipated. The next couple of months can take their time, although I wouldn't mind them going by quickly -- I am cautiously optimistic

As well, for 'nice and warm', you could live in many different nations to experience that.
You are correct about the higher fares. I believe [who I anticipate my employer would be in Atlanta] charges a small annual fee for travel. The chocolates alone add up after a while.

In 10 hours from now I will be in Boston. (And in 22 hours from now, Orlando!)

I've been pondering about this for 2 months and I can't decide.

choices:

Hartmann
Aviator Backpack - Black

TUMI
Alpha T-Pass Expandable Brief
Alpha Continental
Vapor International Carry-On
Tegra Lite International Carry-On

I do hope you have the "authority" to use your sewer. Privies are so yesterday.

Lucky you. Enjoy the warmer weather.

This is the 6th week of the semester and the 1st full week of Monday-Friday, regular schedule. 2 of them have been planned to not have full weeks (the first one was Wednesday-Friday of classes anyway, and last week was President's Day).

10 days until Spring Break however.

Mainly because I need a briefcase, and my birthday is coming up

That said, the Alpha Continental looks nice too. I'm not a fan of those hard-case carry-ons.

It's so nice of you to think of me, and offer to send your gift to me. I'd like the Alpha Continental.

I can virtually guarantee you that you would win your bet. I have not looked at the temperature there, but all of my Alaskan Facebook friends were commenting about rain today.
