Mikey1003, where has all your laughter gone? I think I've not seen a joke from you since the trial wrapped up!
I was under the impression that several members of the Lounge complained that they no longer wanted jokes.....so I stopped harassing you

If jokes are wanted, let us know.

If not, let us know.

I actually had that as my signature last week....

Yes, I voted...

Mrs. Gargoyle and I voted, early and often, following the Chicago tradition. We each voted twice for the congressional candidate.

See, Denny Hastert resigned early, so they needed someone to fill his seat for the interim, until next Jan. 09, so they held a special election; the same basic slate of candidates who was running in the primary for the post from Jan09-Jan 11. We each got two separate ballots at the same time, so we could vote for the same position twice.

In IL you declare when they hand you the ballot; in fact, I could have declared differently for the two different ballots today, and they would have handed me one red and one blue ballot at the same time.

Double your pleasure, double your fun, with double congressional voting in the western suburbs.

I HATE SUVs. Especially when they decide to change lanes. Into my lane. When I'm there.

Fortunately, my car is drivable. It looks like just cosmetic damage. Driver side door & rear quarter panel. The electric window still works & the door opens/closes smoothly, so I don't think the damage is too bad.
