BamaVol, I'm sorry for getting back to you so late! As it turned out, my flight was cancelled that day and I didn't make it to ATL until the next morning. I have one more flight through ATL on November 27th, then I'm switching to a new flight out of CVG. Hopefully, the only other time I'll have to fly through ATL is when I go to the PBI/FLL meet on December 9th and returning December 11th.

If you are going to be around then, I'd be happy to "buy" you a drink in the CRC.

It's ok, Modapa. I trolled through the gate area on what I assumed was your flight. I have a flyertalk tag conspiuously dangling from my carryon. I looked for someone roughly my age (I see in your profile we were born the same year). I got no bites, so I headed for the CRC. Total time wasted = 2 minutes, equivalent to the cost of a drink in the CRC.

I'm flying into ATL on 12/9, but don't arrive until 8:10 PM. I'm guessing you'll be on your way to PBI/FLL before that.

I noticed that Mirage commented on the arrangement of the SLC CRC, and yes, it is a little "different." I did think that the 6 local brews that they had were a nice unique touch to that room and I am hoping to schedule something through SLC again next year to sample the other 3--of course, by then, I may have forgotten which 3 I have tasted.

Anyway, I will be heading West through ATL on 12/2 (7:30 am for 1 hr) and back East again on 12/4 (4:00 pm for 2 hr). I will be going solo this time (2 vacancies for a free pass if anyone wants to join me in the CRC).

...and for those of you that celebrate at home or during travel, Happy Thanksgiving

I'll be in an ATL CRC for 1-1/2 hours the afternoon of 11/29 and again the morning of 12/1. Anyone else?

I'll have a 1-hour connection in ATL between 4:51 and 5:50 on the 29th, but don't have CRC access, and it's a short enough connection that I wouldn't ordinarily be looking for a CRC visit. But I'd be happy to stop by just to say "hi" if you wish.

On the other hand, I'm currently stuck with a dreadful 2 hours in ATL between 9 pm and 11 pm on Friday night Dec. 2, between 2 connecting CRJ flights (the first one a 3-hour tour! -- uggh), and would be even happier to meet anyone willing to host another FTer in a CRC for a respite on that occasion.

Would be happy to meet you there, but my flight leaves at 3:55. Maybe it'll work next time.

I'll be passing through ATL from 650 p.m. until 955 p.m. on this Sunday evening (11/27). Probably will be using B for both arrival and departure (coming from MHT, going to GSO), but will be around the airport. I've got the FlyerTalk tags hanging off the suitcase if you're there.

^ maybe this time. My ATL flight leaves at 9:45 Dec. 4th, but I'm not sure how early we can make it to the airport.

I should be sitting by the pool in Boca Raton by 8:00 p.m. on 12/9, but you never know when something is going to be delayed...

Gargoyle, as luck would have it, I'll be changing my flights starting with December 4th. CVG has a flight starting December 1st according to the new schedule, that will arrive earlier in SNA than the flight from ATL. But the flight to ATL is going to be my backup plan in case things are bad weather-wise in Ohio. Since this is going to be a regular thing now, if you are ever in CVG between 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. let me know.

Gargoyle,

I'm flying out of ATL at 7:40 PM on Dec. 4th, probably B concourse. I imagine I'll be gone by the time you arrive.

This thread is turning into the "just missed you at the CRC".

Maybe I'll sign the CRC door.

I appreciate the offer, and it would have worked out well, but Delta changed my itinerary. I will no longer be going through ATL.

Instead, they figured that I would prefer freezing outside in JFK in the middle of December when I want a smoke.

I arrive at 5:50 in the morning on Dec 6 and leave for PBI (on Song) at 10:15. I don't even know if there is a CRC in the Song departure terminal, but if there is, and someone wants to meet the infamous Dovster, please let me know.

My wife and I will be one of the ATL CRCs (likely on A or B--I can update the most likely on Wed) from roughly 7:45 AM to 8:30 AM this coming Thursday (Dec 1) and then the SFO one on Tuesday the 6th from 5:45 AM to 6:15 AM or so.

From the other side...

Would be nice to meet some Delta peoples. I'll be @ SFO on Sunday AM (4th) (for a noon flight) and don't have CRC access (but they sometimes let AS Boardoom pax in), and ATL Monday AM (5th) (for 1030a flight) where I do have CRC access.
