Earlier this month - Awkwafina (Rapper/actress) LAX-JFK in D. I chatted with her briefly as we deplaned and she was super nice! It took all my self control not to say “bawk bawk, b——“ (a line from Crazy Rich Asians for those who haven’t seen the movie).

11/14: Zoe Saldana and her husband sat across the aisle from me in D1 on the LAX->JFK red-eye. They were some of the last people to board and after deplaning, they were met by someone and escorted via the Delta Porsche. She's stunning!

Dikembe Mutombo in ATL
While exiting the Sky Club for my ATL-LAX, I noticed a VERY tall (7'2") gentleman chatting with the agents at the booking desk. Overheard him saying a few more flights this year. Obviously they were very familiar. What really caught my eye was his very elegant black, mid-calf overcoat.
He boarded after me. Passengers passed and smiled and the captain came by to shake his hand and greet him. I asked a FA who he was and she told me his name and said he was the "Cookie Monster." No idea who he was, figured he was a basketball player so I googled cookie monster and basketball, and came up with Dikembe Mutombo.
FA came to hang his overcoat (she must have had to fold it over a few times) and suit jacket, everything impeccably tailored and fitted. Being tall myself (6'6") I know you just can't buy this stuff off the rack. I wanted to ask him who his tailor is, not that I could afford it.
He was very gracious and humble. But wow, he did fill the seat and scrape the ceiling!

Cedric the Entertainer was in the T3 SC at LAX last night. I saw him get escorted down by a DL agent into a Porsche while I was waiting for the bus to T3.
