I also realized that my password is technically out of compliance from current requirements - that might be why the new login interface isn't working, but the old still is. Curious if others with the issue are in the same boat with using outdated password requirements.

I'm tempted to change my password, but sort of want to wait and see if that is in line with what others are experiencing.
HAH! That's great, the work-around totally worked. Thank you!! I didn't change password yet, but just logged in from another page.

Stupid Delta IT and their 'new and improved' UI/UX.

Fortunately my login still works, but I get the crappy new login which isn't even sized properly on my laptop display so its almost impossible to click on the login button if hitting enter doesn't work

I've had the "login workaround" for 9+ months.
I use the https://www.delta.com/skymiles/login page.

But according to others, nothing is wrong, since they can log in, so it's my fault. Always.

what are you even talking about, this thread is literally full of people saying they can't log in, it's the entire reason the thread was created, and zero people have said this is "your fault"

What is 'at fault' is clearly Delta's outsourced IT and lack of testing of anything before they push out changes.

My old password for DL was super old and did not comply with the minimum length requirement. Between myself, husband, and my parents, my password was the only one not in compliance with DL's current requirements. Once I updated it, I'm now able to login via the website and app.

My suspicion is that the "new" login interface was enforcing the requirements and the "old" login was not.

I suggest anyone impacted take a close look and see if their password meets current requirements - as always with DL YMMV and it could very well just be a random IT glitch, but after working the issue I think I was the cause of my own frustration.
I figured out that this was the issue with my husbands account when trying to log in today to purchase tickets. He was already logged in on his phone so I used it to purchase the tickets but couldn't get the seat selections to save. We changed his password as it didn't meet the minimum requirements and once we did we were able to log in.

Thanks! Neither my wife or I could login until I saw this. After playing around, it looks like we can log in anywhere on delta.com where the red login button has square corners. If the red login button has the rounded corners it doesn't work.

Update your password to the new requirements and it works everywhere.

As of yesterday, my wife and I were able to once again sign in on the home page. No change in passwords
