Weirdly, I'm able to login using the app with the same account details, but on the web it fails for me. Had this happen every so often for me randomly for the past few years.
then i open an incognito chrome window and from that window, it works! |
This issue started for me earlier this week. Log in doesn't work. Have spent two hours on the phone with Apple trying just about everything. I can log in to the mobile app, use safari on my iPhone to go to the site and also log in an log in from a friends Mac using safari.
I've tried Chrome, private browsers sessions, private relay isn't on, no VPN (dont have anyway), etc.... DL is no help as they say they are not aware of any issues being reported. I have Googled and see so many treads in the last year with these issues but no solutions to the problem. I'm at a loss. |
UPDATE: This is definitely an OS issue. Currently, MAC OS Sonoma 14.2 and 14.2.1. Based on a contact I have to DL's IT team, they are aware of the issue. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon or right after the holiday.

Can logon fine using browser but Android app throwing same error. I'd hazard a guess they have some anti-fraud system in use thats being over sensitive to different devices / browsers.
Whats the best way to contact Delta support for tech issues? Edit: Yeh, looks like Delta use Accertify, who are likely blocking the sign in attempts. Will need DL customer service to take action to allow another device / app type based on my experience of Accertify. https://www.accertify.com/delta-exte...prevent-fraud/ |
I am having similar issues. Can not log in using my Mac/Safari-Monterey, I also can not log in using Firefox. I can sign in using the Delta App on my Iphone. Go figure.

I get this about twice a month and it lasts 24-36 hours. Then just goes away.

This morning I couldn't login on either device (app still seemed to work via biometrics anyway, didn't want to chance logging out in case I couldn't get back in) and clearing cache/cookies did NOT help. What did seem to make a difference was to VPN through my network at home, and to test that it wasn't just a coincidence of timing where whatever it was had resolved itself, I disconnected from VPN, couldn't login, reconnected, able to login again (without clearing anything in between this time) Maybe they're considering your location/IP address now? I'm connected to hotel wifi, so I could understand if that's seen as riskier... but my profile in the app says that I have 2FA turned on, so shouldn't this have simply triggered a challenge so that I can go on my way? Rather than blocking the login without recourse. Since I imagine a lot of people try to access the website from public wifi in hotels and airports... |

I was getting this login error yesterday on my Chromebook, but not on my mobile phone browser. I cleared cache/cookies on my Chromebook and was able to login so thought it was that. (Though somewhere in here I tried a password reset and never received the email)

Since I imagine a lot of people try to access the website from public wifi in hotels and airports... yesterday evening, for first time after many months, i had issue loggin in i login many times daily because i'm using a lot the delta stays so need to check price or cancel or book new stays and i login an average 3-4 times daily and yestarday i clicked on login and it didn't work. tried many times . Then opened incognito mode and it worked immediately today it worked again without any problems, i didn't delete the cookie it was all on chrome browser, on my android phone |
Don't think it's a cookie or hardware address. Yesterday got same message on desktop but could log in fine from incognito browser.
Today was able to log in on a regular browser tab but it froze on the next page repeatedly. Again incognito worked fine. App on phone has worked fine all the time. Chrome on Windows 11. |
