Well it has already been discussed that the only plane in the fleet that doesn't use recirculated air is the CRJ-200. But why wouldn't you just email Republic?

AA says yes. Newsroom - How HEPA Filters Have Been Purifying Cabin Air Since the 1990s - American Airlines Group, Inc.

As has been discussed, all planes use them except CRJ due to fact air isn't recirculated.

Because I have and they don't answer. But thanks for your snark.

That's not even accurate based on this thread stating 700/900 series does and 200 series does not.

Yes, saw that, but didn't know if that translated universally across carriers. Thank you a helpful reply.

'CRJ' is the three digit identifier typically used when talking about CRJ-100 and CRJ-200 aircraft. CR7 and CR9 are used for the later models.

The CRJ (-100/-200) do not have HEPA filters because the air is all fresh, no air is recirculated back into the cabin as noted by a number of posters above. All other aircraft in the fleet do use HEPA filters for recirculated air, including the CR7 and CR9.

Anyway, if I trust my research, I can answer my own question now. According to EMB, all "E JETS" have HEPA filters. This equipment is listed under their "E JETS" portfolio. This includes 170/175/190/195.

As we know, 140/145 does not come off the line with HEPA.

CRJ doesn't equal 700/900 versions, those are CR7/CR9. CRJ is used for the 200.

ETA - I see cmd already beat me to the punch on this.

I stand corrected on the nomenclature. Appreciated.
