They're angled toward the window - weird vantage point for TV. And yeah, it's apparently my row that the seats will not move. Two FAs tried both mine and the empty next to me. Sky Pesos have since been given for the inconvenience.

In that instance I'd see if the flight attendants could politely ask if anyone is okay with you sitting next to them. Chances are, of the seven other people, someone doesn't care, and at least you'd get a working seat.

"new releases" has been replaced with "new on board", loaded up with long list of undated films from a long time ago. 🤦🏼♂️

Flew on the 0600 SEA-DTW and then DTW-DCA.
Beverage service during both flights. I was in F. FA took orders. In Y they had the beverage cart in the aisle. All disposable cups. There was ice on board. Water in F is still the little Delta bottles. Y was a big bottle of Dasani that they poured from (similar to pre-Covid)
No pre-flight beverages and the FA on the SEA-DTW said he wasn’t aware of that coming back anytime soon. I asked about the food coming in May and he said it will be a return to flight fuel boxes with “fresh options,” but no hot plated food until end of year. Take that for what it is.
Service and refills were plentiful on the SEA flight. At least in F.
Another interesting observation, gate agents are filling more F seats. Every row had people on both sides. Empty seats were left next to people traveling alone. My DTW-SEA flight Monday had 14 of 20 seats filled. Out of SEA today was about the same. FA still using 1C. I got the upgrade to F today with a companion even though the UG list showed 0 seats available. Same thing happed on my outbound. Both flights we were at the top of the UG list.

I'm straight up excited about this, as a G&T drinker. They could have sold me Fever Tree as a multi-dollar upcharge in Delta One and I would have paid it. Fantastic in flight service upgrade that I hope sticks around post-COVID.

I’m curious what the rationale is behind the mini cans vs. standard size cans. Is it anything other than cost cutting?

from a fellow G&T drinker
What else could it be. Other factor is weight which is again cost saving.

I thought the carts were designed for 12 oz cans.

If it was only about cost saving they would have gone to 1L or 2L bottles like in Europe
