According to Delta, DM is worth $3000 - I just got an offer for that. Seriously Delta? Just give you $3000 so I can have some more MQDs? I passed...but $1000 in FC tickets actually gets you....FC tickets. So really you should subtract your estimate of the value of the FC upgrades (say $300) from the $1000 since you are getting that in actual value, the part you wouldn't spend on your own is the actual cost of the MQDs. So now you are down to $700, minus the $200 worth of SMs you can get, minus the $450 club fee you mentioned, minus the value of RUCs or GUCs, etc...starts to be compelling.
