It is apparently a slow news day... A local newspaper reporter reached out to me about the emu on the loose.

Just a pig and not a wild boar? I'm disappointed--they're tasty too, and much more flavorful and interesting than domestic/domesticated pig, although they're supposedly more dangerous too.

Yummy. Grilled lamb chops, preferably done (rare) on charcoal.

I would prefer pig to lamb. Our neighbors have a smoker large enough to smoke a pig.

Unfortunately a chicken in pot is only legal in ten states, unless it's used for medicinal purposes. Then it's still only legal in 33 states.
