Speaking of pets, bunnies not only pee when you pet them, but many of them are skittish of strangers. So renting a bunny may not be a great idea. However, if you do get a chance to pet a bunny, they particularly love a scratch behind the ears. And, if you hear them grinding their teeth, don't be alarmed..that's a noise bunnies make when they are happy (I am the aunt of the dearly beloved and recently deceased Poppy, brown bunny extraordinaire).

So very cute, you little pup! Have you not stopped by the pet thread?

I saw a guy at SEA a few hours ago with a t-shirt that had a logo:
"Explosives Specialist"
I had mixed feelings about seeing that!

I was very happy to have a pet-and-ESA-free trip SEA-DTW-DCA earlier this week ... in fact, I don't even recall seeing any animals on leashes or in carriers AT ALL

I used to have a letter I kept in my travel backpack stating that I had worked around explosives. I never had to use it but always wondered how that conversation would go.

It was bad WalMart food, was the food the foster fed him. It was a slow wean off that (particularly because of the stress of dehoming, then immediately having him go to FL). He's on Fromm's Large Breed Puppy now, and he loves it (and his coat shines and well, let's just say his digestive system agrees in many ways).

The non-glowing pups are adorable!
I know it's popular with some to claim a) Skymiles are useless or b) say it's stupid to use miles on economy routes, but I'm a happy camper today because I managed to find 4x PIT-VPS award tickets for peak summer season for 18K economy/23.5K C+ each (and no I'm not going to find four saver tickets to here on a single PNR on AA or United because of regional jet award capacity), so BIL, SIL and their kids could come down for a visit during peak summer tourism season. They could have afforded the cash price and all but it's an opportunity cost thing, and when you add in hotel/condo costs anywhere vaguely close to the beach it's like 'you're talking that much money just to visit us? When there are far more interesting places you could vacation for that much in our opinion?'
One of my goals the past year has been to figure out how to reduce barriers to good things happening and I'm feeling rather mission accomplished right now. And family get togethers are definitely Good Things.

LOL. Pumpkin has that inner glow. But maybe it's because Mama just bought enough toys to have justified buying Chewy.com stock
Though I do remember, as a child, being horribly afraid that the fish we caught near the Davis–Besse Nuclear Power Plant (near Toledo OH) would glow in the dark...but those fish certainly didn't look as nice as Sir GlowsAlot...
