Delta 777-200ER/LR Conversions to 7HD & 7HB. Pre-mods config is 37J/36W/218Y. For all the ERs and the first LR, post-mods config was initially 28J/48W/220Y (7HD/7HB). The post-mods config for all ERs and LRs is now 28J/48W/90Y+/122Y (7CD/7CB).

Seatmap posted! Looks like 28 Suites (1-2-1), 48 Premium Select (2-4-2), 220 Economy (3-3-3)

I'll be honest, I didn't believe they'd keep the 3-3-3, and I'm so happy they did. Puts DL way ahead of AA/UA in TPAC economy for me (not that there was a huge competition to being with).

I would think that with 8 across on the 777 the PS seats should be able to be slightly wider than on the A350, right?

Correct, the 772 is almost a foot wider than the 359.

Nice. If the seats are close to 20" wide this will be a noticeable difference.

Arguably, the 777 will become the real flagship of the fleet

We'll have to see what the D1 and Y seats are like, but yes, could be. While they do have this seat map available for seat selection, it's not yet available with the other seat maps so we don't know any of the actual seat stats yet.

There are a couple rows of 3-3-2 and 2-3-0, is there any specific reason for this? The seat map doesn't show anything that could be in this space.

Good point. I'm guessing the suites will be identical and the extra width will be used in the aisles (where it will be very welcomed)

Not necessarily, they quite easily use the exact same seats and use the extra space to make the aisles wider.

Yes, they really could. It will be telling. If they do it will either be because it's cheaper to order the same thing, or because they don't want to make PS any nicer to not detract from D1.

I would think it also simplifies maintenance if the seat is interchangeable between multiple types of aircraft, although maybe you were already including that under the general idea of "cheaper".

I am going to do this ^
I wonder if the FA would ask you to take the fort down during take-off or landing?
