Missing segment in itinerary on Delta.com

This is really minor, but shouldn't happen. I have an itinerary RDU-JFK-PRG and BUD-CDG-ATL-RDU. A few days ago I got a message on Delta.com that there was a schedule change. The only thing (I thought) had changed was the flight number on ATL-RDU.

However, when I went to look at the flight today, I noticed the BUD-CDG segment was missing on Delta, but it was still there on Air France (code share).

Should I be at all concerned about this, or will it show up again at some point? I have asked my TA to check it out.

The BUD-CDG segment is operated by AF, presumably? You say "codeshare", but are you flying under the DL flight number (if any) or are you flying under an AF flight number, but ticketed on DL stock.

Do "view receipt" on the DL itinerary. Make sure that the receipt properly shows the BUD-CDG segment and that there is no misalignment with the ticket and the flight as shown on the AF website.

The most important thing is that it shows on the operating carrier's (AF) website.

Additionally, if this is a DL ticket number (006XXXXXXXX) then it should show on dl.com also. So in that case I would call in to be safe.

But if not on a DL ticket number, then DL may very well not show all the legs and I would not worry.

Was this booked directly with DL or through another party/airline? It'll make a difference how it displays.

Since it wasn't booked through DL, the DL PNR isn't the main PNR and won't necessarily contain all the flights. The TA PNR in this case would be the only one for sure to contain all the flights. Simply put the TA just send info to each airline about their own flights. You can end up with multiple PNR on one airline also if you have flights coded as that airline and flights operated by that airline but codeshared by another airline.

Bottom line, all that matters is that the TA PNR is correct and that tickets have been issued.

How do I view receipt on Delta? I can find no way to do this???

EDIT: Can I assume that I will need to get separate boarding passes for the segment BUD-CDG (Air France) and CDG-ATL-RDU (Delta)? How does one print a boarding pass airside in CDG? Is there a transfer desk or do I do it at the gate?

Look at your itinerary (trip details) on DL.com. In the upper right corner is the PNR. Slide down one line and move left. One hyperlink says "one time notification". Next to that should say "view receipt".

No receipt, I'm holding a reservation but hasn't been booked yet. TA working with Viking Cruise air dept. Did this last year, didn't have this problem.

So I happened to check my schedule today and the "missing" segment from BUD-CDG is once again viewable through Delta. I'm happy but still not sure what happened. I have not received any emails from Delta about any changes. So I have no idea when this change actually happened.

I thought someone might find this interesting. The segment BUD-CDG which was missing and reappeared, has now disappeared again from delta.com. I'm not too concerned because it shows up on the Air France website and my TA.

I had a similar thing happen to me flying TYS-MSP-NRT-ICN-CJU. The NRT-CJU legs were Korean air, and the TYS-NRT was Delta. Delta wouldn't show the ICN-CJU leg on there website. Korean only showed the MSP-CJU legs on their website. It still worked, though I will say it was messy in NRT both ways. Korean air didn't like the way Delta had tagged my bags and vice-versa, so each time it took about 30 minutes to get that fixed. As far as checking in, I checked in with Delta and they gave me the regular boarding passes for their flights. They also gave me two pieces of paper for the Korean flights that said to exchange for boarding passes at the gate.

I'm hoping mine is as easy as yours, despite the few problems. Hope AF gives me their and Delta's BPs. That would make my day.
