So I thought the idea of the electronic drink coupons in the My Wallet feature on the Delta app was initially great, but I've had issues getting it loaded onboard. Gogo as we all know is often slow and I've had issues with opening the app (often it logs you out) and then you enter the "circle of death" as nothing happens. So therefore you can't get to the drink coupons and can't use them.

Even though using GoGo for DL "stuff" is supposed to be free, often times it doesn't seem to work that way.
Once, recently, I did an online chat with GoGo customer service to complain, and they gave me a 30 minute pass, and my app worked PERFECTLY!
Of course, that doesn't address the fact that, it's supposed to work for the whole flight
- and, this might be a PIA to do on a short flight just to use a drink coupon.

Best idea is print a few on paper or do screen shots works just fine.

" You may enjoy free access to the Fly Delta app while in flight. "
You may......... and, you may NOT.

In my experience, successful access to Fly Delta app in-flight depends on how old the plane's interior is. The older aircraft's Gogo infrastructure supports Fly Delta access just fine, while I am never successful accessing Fly Delta on newer planes like 739. Seems Gogo forgot a step to unblock the services Fly Delta needs in the latest version of Gogo on the newer planes.

Does this actually work for anyone? It used to be that the app would work with gogo even if you weren't logged in with a paid pass, but now it doesn't seem to do that anymore. Also, every time I open the app it tries to log in and if it can't reach the server then it logs you out.
