Watch for the email when they tell you that you have made PM. My wife did last week and the email said the credentials will be mailed out (forget when).

I moved up to PM this past year after moving to Europe (and changing address on the website). With all the penny-pinching moves by Delta there isn't some sort of policy that the mailed credentials are for US members only is there?

I made PM on 9/26. Received this email on 9/28:

YOUR CREDENTIALS ARE ON THEIR WAY.
You'll receive your personalized Platinum Medallion credentials in the mail in the next four to six weeks.

I hope not. I've been tempted to try to change my address to my grandparents' in the UK.

Were you a PM or DM last year? Just wondering because I requalified for PM almost two months ago and haven't even been sent the link to choice benefits yet.

You shouldn't need to wait for a link.

Go to My Delta -> My Skymiles -> hover your cursor over the My Skymiles tab. A menu should appear with choice benefits as an option. Select it and you should be able to choose them.

No status last year.

Did you also receive an email saying "[Name], You've Reached Platinum Medallion Status?" If so was this part of that email or a separate one? I received that one, but nothing that said anything about receiving mailed credentials.

That was the same email. Go down a little bit to the two little "blocks" of text it should be the left one.

Maybe they have different emails? Mine did say something about earning the waiver through CC spend. Subject of the email was "Youve Reached The Next Level: Platinum"

Hit Diamond last Thursday night. Got the email "from Sandeep" Saturday congratulating me on reaching it. No mention of credentials other than before the signature line:

First time hitting DM... been a PM for 4+ years now.

Just called and they said the credentials are for US members only. No clue how this would work if I didn't have enough MQD (could I lose the status!?) but luckily I do anyway so I had to switch my address to a US address to get the credentials and will have to resend in my proof of living abroad to get it switched back later. Thanks Delta... $10k worth of flights and they can't send some bag tags overseas...

You must really want those bag tags badly. I don't think I would mess with my address (foreign verses US) as that could very well lead Delta to flag the account as suspicious.

Yeah I thought of that but don't think it'll be an issue since I changed it 2 years ago from US->Europe and I'll change it at some point next year back to Europe again.

Also something that may be interesting, or reading too much into things from the rep, is that she said I didn't have enough MQD, as I only had $9.8k, and the requirement was $10k for PM. I told her the website says $9k and she said "oh, you're right for 2017 status it is still $9k."
