Upgrading Companion With Miles
I requested a mileage upgrade for myself (GM) and my girlfriend (no status) on our flight next week. One flight cleared at booking, the other was waitlisted.
Today I was upgraded for the second flight, but she wasn't. I'm wondering where she falls in the hierarchy. I'm assuming after all medallions using guc/ruc/miles, and before all complimentary upgrades?
Also, I thought we would clear together, because I didn't ask to split the reservation. Would we clear separately normally? Thanks!

AFAIK you should have cleared together. Try to check that her upgrade request hasn't somehow been dropped in DL's recent IT mess. You can also call and ask whether upgrade inventory is available on the flight and, if so, request that the GM agent clear the other upgrade.
